The Dangers in My Heart
This super cute comedy/romance anime got me hooked! I found the characters endearing and rooted for them from the get-go 🤞
I liked very much the comedy style, the off-voice from the main character narrating his thoughts in the middle of the action. By action, we mean a simple wrist grab (classic!), a gesture, or a word.
In the end, the anime season falls short and leaves you wanting more, much more. I’m not saying they have to sleep together, don’t get me wrong. But enjoy a more open relationship, where they could go on dates openly and just enjoy the moments together. It feels even though they both know each other’s feels (even if they haven’t expressed them in words), they could make it official. Would have loved to see a peck on the cheek to make Ichigawa melt, a final combo attack on the final episode. Knock out 🤭
I am now being forced to pick up the manga and see if this goes in the direction we all hope for 🥲 I have the feeling the manga won’t be as good, the anime was very well directed, and the touchy moments were well animated.
What’s your take? I wouldn’t mind a second season right this moment.
