⭐️⭐️⭐️

From the light novel with the same name, Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki spins around the life of Fumiya Tomozaki Japan’s best player in the online game Attack Families, commonly known as “Tackfam.” Which is no other than Super Smash Bros. with another name. In fact, it’s so prominent on the show that I ended up buying the game for my Nintendo Switch 😂

The series starts great, I love the character, the setting, and the whole concept of approaching life as a video game. However, it ends up derailed but this complex dialogue arguing that life should be enjoyed and that people shouldn’t have “masks” on (thus hiding how they really are).

Sure all these concepts are true to the core and very valid but that was not what I was looking for when I read about it and saw some clips of the show online.

The character development, for our Fumiya Tomozaki, is remarkable but you end up the show with a “That’s it?”. I really thought we would see some more action with Kikuchi, or that the relationship with the other boys would become even more natural.

In the end a high-school kid with no very bad social skills and hardcore gamer is bound to have a tough time around the popular and outgoing classmates. I feel this could’ve been more but a small story on how an introvert learned there’s more to life than videogames.

Now if you’ll excuse I’m going to play some Super Smash Bros. 🎮

What’s your take? Did you like it?
