Oshi no Ko, one of the top anime this year

With an oustanding 9 out of 10 score on MyAnimeList Oshi no Ko delivers a story that has had people hooked for months 😮

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a story this brave, you know the expression “don’t judge a book by its cover”. Well, Oshi no Ko should show up when looking up that definition 👏

The first episode is 1,5 hours long, which is rare in this industry where the first episode is sometimes called “a pilot”. No wonder there are only 11 episodes in this season (yes, it has been confirmed a 2nd season is happening. Which should already tell you this anime is good 😉).

The first episode is very, very good 💯 The setting of the characters, the pace, and of course the twists… it delivers a good punch 👊 However‼️ I think it’s too good 🤔 As you move to the 2nd and 3rd episode you wonder where all the magic has gone 🧐 I’ll tell you where, in they left it in the first episode 😅

Luckily the show picks itself up quickly and you’re again anxious to know how the story unfolds 😌 The main problem for me was that the main plot was left a little bit aside to allow for the story to develop after that gutsy first episode. Lots of thing change and they need to sort of re-frame the show and characters.

No worries, as mentioned, like any good roller coaster the show takes up preparing us for a good season 2. Can’t wait! 🤩
