Tsurune (season 1): one of the most beautiful animations

Have you seen Tsurune? You should! Here’s why…

Tsurune is a gem that doesn’t get enough attention. The animation style is just beautiful, and the characters are very relatable 💜

The story spins around a group of high schoolers who play kyudo, the Japanese martial art of the bow and arrow 🏹 🇯🇵 I’m always so blown away by these Japanese schools having such facilities. Ok, surely not all schools in Japan will have it but seems rather common (alongside this “clubs” concept), Here in Spain (Barcelona, at least) is just unthinkable, be thankful if you have a basketball court or a small indoor soccer field ☹️

I gotta say watching kyudo live might be a little boring, it feels very slow but watching it on anime is fun as it doesn’t seem that slow-paced 👌

The only downside is that it’s only 13 episodes long, I so much would’ve liked a 24-length season 🥲

🤩 Luckily the second season is streaming and they’ve kept the same quality we’ve been expecting. Something that doesn’t always happen! 💯

What’s your take? Did you like it?
